Unfortunately I don't understand your problem or what you want to solve. Do you want unlink(2) and rmdir(2) in aufs to remove the same named files on all writable branches? If so, I don't think aufs will have such feature since the effective (or meaningful) file is topmost only in aufs. Other lower files are simply ignored. And I don't think auchk will not detect/fix such situation since it is totally legal. But aubrsync (actually it is rsync) script with some options from rsync may help you. Just my guess. J. R.
