Take your time to do the patch sfjro. Your work is basic for our Distro
(MUSIX) and only can say thanks.
About the last question... I see that some fs code are not patched by
the kernel RT patch... why? This code was write with safe RT methods?
(semaphores... spin locks...). I an not a programmer and the question can be
very wrong. if this is the case, my apologies.

Because I am not an RT user basically, I always start developing the
aufs-RT patch on demand, ie. when a user requests me, I begin.
So now you requested.
I will start developing the aufs-RT patch for linux-3.0 in a few
weeks. It may take some time. And I'd ask you to test it when it
comletes. Until then, just wait please.
I don't fully understand your last question "This patch is nedeed
today?". Does it mean "without the extra aufs RT patch, won't the plain
aufs-3.0 work?" If so, I don't know since I have not read the RT patch
for 3.0. I need to check it out first.
