I have strange filing, that you suggest to abandon aufs as a tool to reach
reasonable number of writes on USB, with keep flexibility of a real Linux
system. Why?
(My situation seem to me some what unusual because I have using a miniITX
board with 2G of RAM and multicore Intel Atom CPU)
