> aufs au_lkup_neg:264:kworker/3:1[40]: I/O Error, resolv.conf should be

It means,
- you are going to modify the file, resolv.conf.
- aufs cannot find the file on the upper RW branch,
- but finds it on the lower RO branch,
- and decides to copy-up.
- during the internal copy-up operation, aufs notices that the file
  exists on the upper RW branch.
- produces an error msg and return an error.

I am afraid someone else is going to create (or write) resolv.conf
concurrently or directly to $NEWROOT/rw/etc/resolv.conf (bypassing
aufs).
