I will be adding a fast "top layer" on top a fileserver like this

mount -t aufs -o br:/mnt/newssd=rw:/mnt/olddisk=ro+wh aufs_root /srv/p/

Since there is a considerable difference in size, I would like to "copy 
down" changes from
/mnt/newssd to /mnt/olddisk about once a week.

Would a straight

rsync -a /mnt/newssd /mnt/olddisk

be preferrable to

aubrsync

or the other way around?
Dopes it matter?
