We found that his problem is related to the sticky bit of the upper RW
branch dir, and could solve (at least, workaround) it.
Justin, if you are using tmpfs and its sticky bit is set, I'd suggest
you to drop it.
I have downloaded your iso image, but don't have time to test
it. Currently my test machine is working very busy for testing
linux-3.10-rc1.
