Thanks, I have reported this issue in meta-openembedded repo issues.
It's a bit strange though because the security_flags.inc simply adds the 
following compile options to the compile/link line: -fstack-protector-strong 
-Wl,-z,relro,-z,now

Unfortunately you've got a wrong ML.
Aufs is unrelated to Yocto, poky, rocko or something.
I'd suggest you to write to someone who wrote security_flags.inc.
