The basic way is the version string printed at loading aufs module. But, in ubuntu, it may not be reliable I am afraid, since ubuntu people may change the aufs source files while keeping the version string. The best way for such case is, - obtain your ubuntu kernel source files. - find where aufs source files are placed. - compare the source files with the official released ones. J. R.
