Currently, with Augeas 0.5.1, this is the behavior I get when a save
fails:
augtool> save
Saving failed
This isn't really all that helpful in telling me why the save failed. Is
my syntax wrong? Is the disk full? Do I not have sufficient permissions to
write to the file? Did aliens steal my hard drive and replace it with
pancakes?
There needs to be a way to obtain more information about what augeas was
trying to do when the failure occurred.
