Hi, funpidgin was renamed to carrier, additionally for some time carrier has been depending on a package not in a official repo or AUR, a working alternative has been provided in the comments along, with a request from a user for someone else to take over maintainer status, this happened on the 18 March 2009. I would like to volunteer myself to maintain this package.
