I know, I simply "dislike" to have a package like this that just
download an .exe file so I thought I might hear other options about
this.
I think it's not packager fault if the application is so portable that
requires only a crude copy to execute.
If the package does what it's asked to a package, therefore to properly
install an application and render it properly usable, the package can be
considered well done.
What does dislike you?
Could it be more complex?
Btw some fixes should be made to that package. First of all the package
could be made better following the wine packaging guidelines [1] to
properly prepare the wine environment. Maybe an icon and a desktop
shortcut could be added. A dedicated wine prefix will be a good choice.
So the package can be heavily enhanced but I think it shouldn't be
considered trash just because it will merely copy an executable file and
let it run.
