Further research showed I was using very low scoring servers in
/etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist now this error seems only to happen when yaourt
cannot find a package in its search. The pacman program just returns
nothing like the which command when a command is not present.

Subject: [aur-general] yaourt certs access problem
When I try using yourt for searches I get:
curl error: Problem with the SSL CA cert (path? access rights?)
I had a network failure a week ago and ended up reinstalling talkingarchlinux
and didn't have this problem with my earlier installation.
I thought adding a newcerts directory fixed this problem but that's not the
case.
