Request #11575 has been rejected by Eschwartz [1]: that is not how you remove yourself from the comaintainer group.
There's a reason the "disown package" link exists. As soon as the next aurweb version is released with this bugfix: https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/53832 comaintainers can even use it too! Until then, if it *really* bothers you, and you simply cannot wait longer than a day for the maintainer to remove you as requested in the comments... post on the bugreport or the mailing list.
