diabonas [1] filed a deletion request for matrix-nio-git [2]: There is now a package "python-nio" that is maintained directly by upstream. As explained in PRQ#16074, I think this is the preferable name according to the Python package guidelines. Besides, this package is orphaned and missing almost all necessary dependencies.
