This is not even a reason to mention in the comments. It's perfectly valid for 
a rewrite to try to be a drop in replacement under the very same binary name. 
This is appropriately reflected with a provides and conflicts there is 
literally nothing to do here.... Except that the package is an unpinned -git 
package from its behavior
