Request #23888 has been rejected by ainola [1]: While I do not personally like dummy packages existing on the AUR (that's more a personal system thing than something to "share" with people), there's no rule against having them - Previous discussion with other TUs/developers [1] suggests that dummy packages are acceptable in the AUR.
