Request #27414 has been rejected by alerque [1]: These two packages are not at all the same. It appears they may conflict with each other but they don't serve the same purposes. If needed you can add `conflicts=(libvlc)` or whatever, or you can work out which package should be responsible for which files and depend on the other, but the solution likes in working out the respective packaging, not in merging dissimilar packages.
