"Super old" doesn't apply to -nightly packages that download the latest version at build time (like VCS packages).

I'm not saying that package is useful any more (although it was to a lot of people at one point), but that logic alone doesn't seem like cause for deletion. Does it still build? If not, not having a maintainer might be cause for concern.
