christoslongros [1] filed an orphan request for r-scales [2]: Maintainer (dvdesolve) publicly announced departure from AUR in package comments, directing users to a binary repository that has since been deleted (was scheduled for deletion 01.01.2025 per their GitHub announcement). The GitHub repo dvdesolve/ArchRPkgs was archived March 2024. The current source URL returns 404 as CRAN moved the tarball to Archive. I have already submitted orphan requests for r-rlang and r-fansi (same maintainer, same issue) and intend to adopt and fix all affected packages.
