huntergrey [1] filed an orphan request for zeppossimulator [2]:

The maintainer appears to be inactive, and the package is currently
  non-functional on Arch.

  - Flagged out-of-date on 2026-06-26 (20 days ago), no response.
  - Last maintainer activity: 2025-09-10, roughly 10 months ago.
  - Upstream is at 2.1.1; this package is still at 2.0.2.

Beyond being outdated, the current PKGBUILD produces a broken
package. The
bundled qemu-system-arm ships mode 0644 inside the .deb and is never
made
executable, and it links against libsasl2.so.2, which no Arch
package
provides -- libsasl ships .so.3, and the declared cyrus-sasl
dependency
provides the SASL plugins rather than the library itself. The
emulator is the
core of the simulator, so it cannot start. options=('!strip') is
also absent,
leaving makepkg to strip the prebuilt Electron and QEMU binaries.

I have a tested 2.1.1 PKGBUILD ready that addresses these and I am
willing to
maintain the package going forward. I am of course happy to hand it
back if
  the current maintainer returns.
