Smoolak [1] filed an adoption request for python-codetiming [2]: I maintain python-verl in the AUR and would like to adopt python- codetiming, which it requires. The current build requires flit_core <4, but Arch provides 4.1.0. I have prepared an update to 1.4.0 with an adjusted flit_core requirement. All 32 upstream tests passed, along with checks of timer context managers and decorators after installation.
The update has not been published to AUR. I would finish reviewing it, publish the fix and keep the PKGBUILD and .SRCINFO current. For later versions, I would check compatibility with Arch's Python and Flit packages and repeat the upstream and installed timer tests.
