Hello, I would like to add context to PRQ#88354, filed on 14 October 2026 using the AUR account Stokes. I maintain a new Quick Look-style image previewer for KDE Plasma 6. The former quicklook package is an unrelated Python 2 system-statistics tool. My request is to reuse the package name for the new application; it is not a continuation of the old upstream project. Upstream project: https://github.com/13Stokes31/quicklook Existing binary package: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/quicklook-bin Prepared source PKGBUILD: https://github.com/13Stokes31/quicklook/tree/main/packaging/aur/quicklook The source package for release 0.2.0 has been built and tested. I intend to maintain both the source and binary packages. Could you confirm whether reusing this restored name is appropriate, and whether any further information is needed to decide the request?
