chuan [1] filed a deletion request for libexplain [2]: The libexplain (even with the latest Debian patches) can no longer build on Arch. Given the software is out of date for quite some time (last updated in 2014 on SourceForge), I don't see a visible path forward to continue to support it on Arch.
