MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for sbackup [2]: Hi,
It seems to me that this tool has been defunct for a long time. Last released in 2013. In 2017, a user commented that its python2-libgnome dependency is gone (and it still is missing). Now also python2-notify's sources are unavailable (404), and it is not on PyPI either. So I suggest to consider this for deletion instead of keeping it.
