Orphaned VCS package. Disowned by former owner after my inquiry about
the status and need for this package.
Discontinued after 2016; only the URL was updated in a plaintext file
('CNAME') in 2022. [a]
It was an unofficial Python 2 based GMail (Google Mail) backup client.
Package is defunct due to missing core dependency, python2-gdata.
I recommend deletion, as it can no longer serve any useful purpose.
Does not seem needed by users; last comments are from 2015.
