tocic [1] filed a request to merge thor [2] into thor-git [3]: The original 'thor' package (which I also maintain) can't be built without the commits presented in master. But I can't file an upstream issue because the repository is now archived. Since the package's developer will no longer publish GitHub releases, in order to continue using the package, I've created the VCS version.
