HLFH [1] filed an orphan request for trust-dns [2]: This package is currently unmaintained. I could eventually maintain it if the maintainer continues to miss in action. FabioLolix asked 289 days ago to add the missing LICENSE files, to add the misssing systemd unit file, to fix the PKGBUILD url field. It has not been done. Furthermore, this package would not work without a default named.toml or trust-dns.toml config. file that is not provided: therefore, this package should provide it. In addition, the enforced patch/mod 0001-fix-not-linking-openssl.patch of this package replaces dns-over- native-tls / openssl by dns-over-rustls and breaks PKCS12 support as rustls does not support PKCS12. The problem is the trust-dns provides default keys in PKCS12 format that are therefore not supported because of this patch. This patch/mod is unwise and creates issues.
