Request #40189 has been Accepted by serebit [1]: Maintainers of AUR packages, regardless of their ties to the software that the package provides, should be willing to accept help with maintaining their package if they don't have the time to do so. Given that the current maintainer doesn't have time to maintain this package, I'll be accepting this orphan request.
