toropisco [1] filed a deletion request for openoffice-uglyfix-
freetype2 [2]:

I suggest that if [PRQ#41966] Deletion Request for libreoffice-
uglyfix-freetype2 is approved, this package be removed for the same
reasons. As he original request states:

MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for libreoffice-uglyfix-
freetype2 [2]:

This workaround solution to change the behavior of freetype2 library's
font hinting for LibreOffice suite has been created in 2013 and has
not been updated since 2021.

Arch [extra] carries the latest freetype2, v2.13, whereas this package
is at v2.11.

The last comment is from 2020 and says this package makes LibreOffice
7+ crash.

If there is a bug in LibreOffice font hinting which makes fonts ugly,
or if there is a feature request to change LibreOffice font rendering,
it should be either addressed in Arch bug report or upstream in
LibreOffice project.

I recommend deletion of this package which seems to be not actively
used and maintained anymore.
