MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for ntdsxtract [2]:

This Python2 tool is dead because of its missing Py2 cryptographic
library dependency.

The website it provided is also dead at least since 2017, as per my
browsing through web.archive.org revealed.

The source is also only available on web.archive.org.

This was a tool for a very niche and specialized use case: it says
it's a forensic analysis toolkit for Windows Server's Active Directory
password hash file.

There are expert guides on how to attack this file to extract user
password hashes and other metadata from it.

So if someone wants to do this kind of infosec work on an ntds.dit
database file, they can find plenty of resources for it, they don't
need a dead Python2 toolkit from 2015 to accomplish it.

I recommend deletion of this defunct package.
