Hello Aaron, If you would like to maintain the package then please do maintain it.
You can mostly just wipe out the current PKGBUILD and start fresh with the PKGBUILD from [extra] as a reference, with some minor tweaks. pkgver() should also be corrected to follow guidelines (removing the v in front as well). - éclairevoyant
