MarsSeed [1] filed a request to merge wine-x64 [2] into wine-wow64 [3]: wine-x64 AUR package is not very actively maintained.
It also does not declare the necessary provides (wine). Therefore it cannot be installed together with other packages that depend on wine. @tiziodcaio created a new fork of this package, wine-wow64, and he actively maintains it ever since. So it's better to merge this not-too-proper older package to the new, improved variant that is packaged correctly.
