Request #42728 has been Rejected by alerque [1]: Even if I approved this request and deleted the package from the AUR, the Git history would still be restored if somebody (you or otherwise) tried to post something under the same name in the future.
The way you need to deal with this is adopt this package, then clone the repository for it, then completely replace the files with the new ones the way they should be for packaging the current upstream project, then commit and push that commit. [1] https://aur.archlinux.org/account/alerque/
