MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for dbus-x11 [2]: This package, originally from 2016, seems to be unneeded as per last user comment in 2022 and pinned comment from 2019.
It has a confusing and therefore wrong name. It seems it was used to allow running GUI applications as superuser. While such practice is strongly discouraged, in favor of having applications support PolicyKit-sanctioned actions, still there are desktop environment-specific solutions to run GUI applications as full superuser. (Pinned comment links to Arch wiki article about this topic.) Also this package is on an outdated devel version of dbus from 2022-09. I think it is time to retire this package.
