MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for sdl2_ttf-git [2]: Broken, abandoned VCS pkg from 2021, MIA owner (@shoober420).
Upstream now defaults to sdl3 development branch, so in its current state this package is wrong, misleading. But the package has had problems earlier, as it hadn't been kept up- to-date with upstream dependency changes. There is only one comment from a year ago about breaking issues. But as no one has stepped up to maintain this package, I think it is time to sunset it. Even if fixed, there wouldn't be much benefit: upstream will focus on SDL3, so updates to SDL2 will be rare.
