MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for python-bumpversion [2]: Duplicate of AUR/bumpversion. This is a Python based CLI utility, so its name doesn't need the 'python-' prefix.
But both packages are superfluous, since this project is dead since 2019. [a] Project readme recommends the friendly community fork called bump2version, available from PyPI and AUR. Users and dependent packages should be able to utilize the latter as they are API-compatible.
