MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for qdvdauthor [2]: Unused legacy software which depends on a very old ffmpeg, which has been unbuildable for 6+ months, but no one noticed.
Last comment is from 2020. Therefore it does not seem worth keeping on AUR and does not hit the bar set by AUR submission guidelines that it should be used/useful not just for a few people but for more users.
