a821 [1] filed a deletion request for linux-bin [2]: This is an ARM only package, which is not allowed per the submission guidelines. Official binary releases for linux are not a thing, so the package name is misleading. Finally, the PKGBUILD is terrible; it uses curl all over the place to retrieve the `pkgver` and the `checksums`. IMO, all this is unnecessary and makes the PKGBUILD hard to understand.
