MarsSeed [1] filed a request to merge xorg-xwayland-hidpi-xprop-git
[2] into xorg-xwayland-hidpi-xprop [3]:

It makes no sense to keep the git package, which has been failing the
patching since a long time ago.
The last update made on 2023-11-12 didn't eliminate that problem.

Using such complex feature patches as the ones used here need constant
rebasing. For a quick-moving target like the master branch of
upstream's Git repo, it would be at least a weekly task, if not a more
frequent one.

Submitter has disowned this, I guess they have realized that this
challenge is not worth the effort.

The stable xorg-xwayland-hidpi-xprop package is actively maintained
and builds fine.
