+1 for deletion. Though symlink-only packages, in select few cases, can be legitimate, this is not such a case.
In fact, it will break some builds. Samurai had its last release, 1.20, in 2020, and does not support Ninja 1.10 features. (And not even its Git master branch code does.) A similar symlink-only package has already been accepted for deletion from AUR on September 15, 2023: [PRQ#43970] Deletion Request for ninja-samurai https://lists.archlinux.org/hyperkitty/list/[email protected]/thread/O2H4FZ33O3TIGFHVKZRCE7SWGOJUJN4B/ On 7 December 2023 16:12:07 GMT+01:00, [email protected] wrote: >yochananmarqos [1] filed a deletion request for ninja-is-samurai [2]: > >Please don't create packages just for a symlink. > >[1] https://aur.archlinux.org/account/yochananmarqos/ >[2] https://aur.archlinux.org/pkgbase/ninja-is-samurai/
