MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for wlroots-nvidia [2]: Obsolete package: upstream wlroots has already implemented the necessary nvidia driver support changes in v0.17.0 release.
Therefore Arch/extra/wlroots 0.17.0+ works properly with nvidia, and uses heuristics to choose the best settings. Whereas this package has kept only a one-line patch with no real impact.
