MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for mplayer2-build-git [2]: Not useful to keep this dead mplayer fork that has been discontinued since 2013.
There is no indication that anyone would want to use it. If there were, we would see complaints: it cannot be executed on most Arch Linux systems due to building against a source-included header for which the corresponding library is not declared in depends array. Even if said missing dependency is satisfied, this mplayer variant fails to play any video with any choosable output sink - at least when one uses ether an NVIDIA GPU or an Intel iGPU.
