MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for ffdiaporama [2]: EOL software from 2014 [a], has been reported by users as failing to build in comments from 2023-08, and it still fails to build due to the same reason as of now.
Also its legacy dependency, ffmpeg21 has been broken, unbuildable since roughly the same point in time, and now it is buildable but not able to find its own libdeps, therefore it cannot be run. Not useful to keep this package in my opinion; there are working alternatives for the same use case (creation of a video from a slideshow of photos).
