MarsSeed [1] filed a request to merge deepin-ocr [2] into deepin-ocr- git [3]:
The stable package has been broken and abandoned for more than a year now. Upstream is sporadically maintained, and not paying attention to creating tagged releases. They are also in the process to migrate to using some newer Deepin OS libraries (I'm not sure if they are available for Arch or not, as I have a vague suspicion that maybe some of the needed libraries are proprietatry). Better to keep only the git package that has a maintainer, who also seems to speak Chinese (which I don't). So they are better able to figure out upstream's sometimes cryptic Chinese language commits that reconfigure the packaging requirements.
