MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for python2-rpm [2]: Cleanup after the deletion of the EOL, broken GNOME2 tool, system- config-users (PRQ#52416).
python2-rpm is also broken: does not support the current librpm.so in repo's rpm-tools: $ yum There was a problem importing one of the Python modules required to run yum. The error leading to this problem was: /usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/rpm/_rpm.so: undefined symbol: rpmdsSetNoPromote (yum itself is a dead Python2 tool and superseded by dnf.)
