levitsky [1] filed an orphan request for xidel-bin [2]:

TLDR: The situation is explained in comments on xidel and xidel-bin

I am the maintainer of "xidel" and I would like to merge xidel into
xidel-bin (because "xidel" is named incorrectly and has always been
based on binaries). However, "xidel" is behind (one could argue that
0.9.8 *is* the latest official release, but the "unofficial" 0.9.9 has
been developed for a while now). The maintainer of "xidel" did not
respond to my comment. Judging by votes, most users rely on "xidel"
and not "xidel-bin" (because it's older and the name is shorter), so I
feel like going back from 0.9.9 to 0.9.8 would be problematic, and we
need the merged package to follow 0.9.9, which "xidel" isn't.
