Upstream has migrated the StatusNotifier implementations into the main vala-panel runtime. Maintainer @tallero has been banned so he cannot be asked to initiate this merge. The active maintainer of the vala-panel git packages have already submitted a similar merge request for vala-panel-sntray-git (PRQ#54217), and it has already been fulfilled since.
