Request #59582 has been Accepted by alerque [1]: This package is using a name used in the official repos (as of just now) for the more popular actual Rust project, while it is just a wrapper for the Go project. The Cargo crate for this package differs from the AUR name used here and another package already exists with the matching crate name. Also the -bin and -git variants of this package name are the other project, so all around this one is just out of place.
