a821 [1] filed a deletion request for python312-perf [2]:

Duplicated of the python package in the official repos.

This package claims to enable optimizations and perf support, but this
is also enabled in the official package [1]. The ./configure options
are almost the same, in particular --enable-optimizations; the AUR
package misses --without-ensurepip however. Some dependencies are also
missing: tzdata and mpdecimal, though the latter is declared as
optional.

Finally, I cannot check further because the package fails to build in
a clean chroot, which has been pointed out in the comments two months
ago, not to mention, this is also out of date (3.12.3 released three
weeks ago).

I do not think it makes sense to keep this package in the AUR.

page: https://docs.python.org/3/howto/perf_profiling.html
