None of that is a reason for deletion. The package is up-to-date,
maintained, and as far as I can tell, correct. Please refer to the
rules of submission [1]. It is also not useless, as the provided
functionality still works.

Plenty of people prefer system-wide packages for their development
environments. This is fine and supported.

The AUR does disallow against niche packages. If it is useful to at
least some people, it can be there.
